Krikke Motorsport "Nanovich" King of the Wings Wrap Up.

Krikke Motorsport "Nanovich" King of the Wings Wrap Up.

Last weekend at the Perth Motorplex Brooke Tatnell, driving the Krikke Motorsport Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia #1 machine, started off the weekend on a high winning the preliminary A Main on the Friday night to wondering what happened on the Saturday.

The team had the speed to win, that wasn't the problem, as they started the A Main on the Saturday night about mid pack and did all the right things needed to get to the front of the "Nanovich" King Of The Wings race. Then just over half race distance the Krikke Motorsport Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia #1 went for the lead and got it, only to be raced back for the lead by the same car and then tagged and forced from the track with suspension problems.

This left the team with a DNF and not something you aim for on a big show like the "Nanovich" King of the Wings. The car only suffered minor problems but it was enough to stop Brooke Tatnell from continuing his dominant force in that race.

Shane Krikke after the race, "I am very bitter & disappointed with that result. To be put out in that fashion isn't some thing that sits very well with me, but we will move on from this and go forward. There is no doubt in my mind that once we got the lead we would have pulled away from the pack. We clearly had the fastest car on the night and did everything right to be in the position we were in."

Brooke Tatnell after the race, "This is not the way I wanted to end my Australian racing this summer. We were fast and I’m sure we would have gone very close to winning that race. I am just so disappointed for the Krikke’s and the whole team."

Krikke MotorSport merchandise is now available on-line or direct from the Team Transporter at each venue, stock is getting low so don’t miss out on the Krikke Motorsport gear this weekend at the Perth Motorplex venue.
