Tatnell & Krikke MotorSport Looking for First Nationals Win

ADELAIDE – Brooke Tatnell and the Krikke MotorSport Team will be looking for their first win at the Australian Sprintcar Nationals this weekend.

The fourth running of the annual Australian Sprintcar Nationals will be held at Adelaide’s Speedway City on Friday 15 February 2008 and Saturday 16 February 2008.  Night one will see Time Trials, followed by two rounds of Heats and the 20–lap Preliminary A-Main.  Night two will see a further two rounds of Heats, a top-six Dash, C-Main, B-Main, and the 40         -lap Nationals A-Main.

Tatnell and the Krikke MotorSport Team, like many other teams, endured a challenging 2007 Nationals, after high temperatures throughout the day created difficult track conditions and one-line racing, which saw the Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill Motors/Cool driver finish 11th on night one.  The hot weather continued on night two, which again produced a track that was not conducive to passing, which saw the Krikke MotorSport driver finish fifth.

Krikke MotorSport last visited Speedway City for the opening round of Wanless World Series Sprintcars Speed Week on 26 December 2007.  After qualifying through the B-Main, Tatnell started the 35-lap A-Main from 13th and powered his Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill Motors/Cool machine through the field to finish a solid ninth.

After the disappointment of the Australian Sprintcar Title being rained-out and delayed until March, Tatnell is no doubt determined to take his first and Krikke MotorSport’s first Australian Sprintcar Nationals win and claim the $10,000 winner’s pay cheque.

Krikke MotorSport merchandise is now available on-line or direct from the Team Transporter at each venue.

Brooke and the Krikke Team again thank their valued sponsors, who are ready to support them for another Australian Sprintcar Nationals campaign: Bunbury Toyota, Toyota Genuine Parts, Terry Shields Toyota, PWR, Mega Motors, Maxwill Race Engines, Cool Chassis, Mercure Hotel Parramatta, A1 Sign Shop, A.
