Avalon votes Tatnell for President.

Last Wednesday night (January 23) Brooke Tatnell continued his sensational form and after picking up second place Sunday night’s Outlaws Downunder V meeting, Brooke’s Australia One Cool took out a great win in the annual Presidents Cup meeting at the Avalon track.

The WSS is over, Brooke isn’t hunting for race finishes and vital series points, the Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia 1 is now racing for victories and the current Australian & WSS champion is certainly making his presence felt against Australia’s best sprintcar racers.

Just days after the Parramatta Outlaws show, the teams headed south for the big meetings with the annual Avalon Raceway Presidents Cup attracting a very strong 28 car field.

Brooke was certainly running in top form and against most of the top Aussie stars Brooke ended qualifying with second quick time. Deciding to go one better, the Krikke Motorsport machine was superb in heat two after coming out of position one Brooke simply “kept it on the gas” continuing to score a great race victory.

Next race was the feature, the Presidents Cup and Brooke was starting out of position two. He immediately stamped his authority on the race and powered into the lead. With the Avalon track in top condition Brooke was leading a fast sprintcar pack and despite a red stoppage, the Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia 1 of Brooke held its ground taking out a great win in the 25 lap feature.

Brooke Tatnell is looking head to a fantastic two weeks of sprintcar competition in the Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia 1 with this weekend’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Warrnambool before heading back to Sydney for the 2008 Australian Sprintcar Championship.

In the WSS, the guys were looking to the bigger picture the WSS crown and Brooke certainly took out a brilliant series win. Now he’s racing for the victories and so far it’s been a second and a win so the Toyota Genuine Parts Maxwell Engines Cool team are confident in continuing that winning “oh what a feeling”,, roll on the Classic and the Aussie Title.
