Krikke Motorsport to Take On "King of the Wings"
For the first time since 1994 when he won the crown ‘King of the Wings’ at the now defunct Claremont Speedway Brooke Tatnell, driving the Krikke Motorsport Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia #1 machine, will be at the Perth Motorplex this weekend to try and secure a second Kings Crown.
After a weekend the Krikke Motorsport Team would rather forget at the 11th annual Krikke Boys Shootout the team this weekend will hit the ground running and be out to finish off their 2007/08 WA campaign on a high by trying to claim the 2008 Nanovich King Of The Wings.
Even though the Krikke Motorsport Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia #1 didn't finish the A Main event last weekend the car didn't suffer any major damage and will be back out in full force tonight for Rd 1.
The Perth Motorplex has been a good venue to Brooke over the years claiming victories in the last two World Series Sprintcars rounds there, but he still claims to this day it is nothing like the big wide open spaces of the Claremont Speedway venue where he claimed his first Kings Crown.
Shane Krikke on last weekends results "I take it very personally when we have weekends like this, as does the whole team, it is not a nice feeling running in your home town to have silly things go wrong due to no fault of our own, but this weekend is a whole new story and looking at the weather it will help this venue keep a track surface up for the drivers to put on a good show. You will see a different bunch of results for the Krikke Motorsport Team this weekend in Perth"
Brooke Tatnell on this weekend "I look forward to running at this venue especially against the caliber of teams that will be there. Perth is like a second home for me with the Krikke Family based out of Bunbury & the Day Family who I have been so lucky to be a part of for so long in Perth. I am looking forward to this race and you will see a different Krikke Motorsport Toyota Genuine Parts/Maxwill/Cool Australia #1 outfit this weekend.”
Krikke MotorSport will be in action this Friday & Saturday nights for the Perth Motorplex ‘King of the Wings’
Krikke MotorSport merchandise is now available on-line or direct from the Team Transporter at each venue, stock is getting low so don’t miss out on the Krikke Motorsport gear this weekend at the Perth Motorplex venue.
