Some of KMS & Brooke Tatnell's best results come when the team is under pressure & last night at Premier Speedway in Warnambool was no exception.

After a brilliant run at the 2010 classic in a race being talked about as one of the best with the clash between USA Shane Stewart & Brooke Tatnell, the Rd12 WSS Australia day round was to be a points consolidating round before heading home west for the final 3 rounds at Kalgoorlie & the Perth Motorplex.

Not having the best of runs in the time trials & heats forced the KMS W2 AJC All Color Group Cool to start in an unfamiliar position of 4th in the B main, Brooke & the team understand the importance of points chasing so to finish the B main strong & make it to the a was the first objective.

A third in the b main was good enough to get them into the A for the RD 12 WSS final, but the hard work was ahead of them from position 17.

The 30 lap final was going to be a make or break afair, from 17 they had the choice to consolidate & pick up what they could in points or chase the leaders & see what become of it, a chance the team was prepared to take, a hard fought battle was looming again with Classic winner Shane Stewart right next to Brooke in position 18, this is how the two would remain again at the end of the race, one position apart, Tatnell secured a awesome top 6 finish from 17th, a great end for the team on the east coast.

Tatnell now has a handy lead heading to the last 3 rounds in WA, a part of the series the team really looks forward too, Speaking with Pete Caphorn recently he said "We have been on the road now for 4 straight months, it is going to be nice to get home & work from our own shop in readiness for some big events coming up in February & March"
